51nodes supports Honda R&D Europe (Germany) GmbH with project “MoRE” (Moving Renewable Energies)

Since 2021, 51nodes has been supporting the European research unit for mobility concepts Honda R&D Europe (Deutschland) GmbH in using electric vehicles as rolling energy storage units to distribute surplus energy.

In this context, 51nodes is involved in the analysis, design and implementation of blockchain-based identities, contracting approaches and service billing. In addition, standardization topics and further use cases on energy and mobility, decentralized identities and tokenization approaches will be investigated. In the meantime, an initial proof of concept application of the platform has been jointly developed.

The cooperation takes place within the project ROLLEN, which is funded by the BMWi.
